Yes. A 50% deposit of your total room cost (including taxes and resort fees) is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance will be charged 7 days prior to arrival.

Prepaid Rate reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

Yes, the resort reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations in cases of suspected fraudulent activity or irregular booking information.

A 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (plus HST) is applied to the room rate, as required by the Town of Gravenhurst.

A 5% resort fee per night (plus HST) applies and includes amenities such as parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, pools, tennis courts, trails, watercraft, beach access, fitness centre, recreation equipment, and more.

Due to high occupancy, early check-ins and late check-outs are not available on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Additional charges apply if check-out times are not followed.

Guests must disclose the total number of occupants to meet fire code regulations.

No. Taboo Muskoka is a smoke-free property. Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, marijuana, e-cigarettes, and vaporizers) is prohibited.

Use of non-motorized water equipment depends on water safety conditions. Equipment cannot be used if water temperatures are below 16°C or if conditions are deemed unsafe.

Yes, life jackets are mandatory for all resort guests. Taboo happily supplies life jackets for our resort guests.

Yes, for an additional charge of $25 per night. Availability is first-come, first-served at check-in and cannot be reserved in advance. Only one cot or playpen is permitted per room or condo due to fire safety regulations.

No. Due to health regulations, Taboo Muskoka cannot store, refrigerate, freeze, reheat, or handle guest food items.

Pets are not permitted, with the exception of certified service animals. Valid documentation must be provided at the time of reservation, and service animals must wear a service vest while on property.

High-value items are held for up to 90 days.

All other items are held for up to 30 days.

Guests are responsible for contacting the resort regarding lost items and covering delivery costs if items are returned.
